#85 "The Perilous Realms of Fandom"
This one took some time if you can imagine. In fact it's probably the most labor intensive comic I've done for NUM. At least it seemed that way at the time. Ol' Rokutunda's body (the guy with the sword) went under several redrawings in both panels. It was also difficult to try and make his figure pop out from the horde in the first panel. I don't think I quite succeeded, but it's good enough for now. It'll probably look really unbalanced once it's all put together but I don't particularly care at this point. Gasp! Laziness from a cartoonist? Why I never.
In an unrelated note, I hope you'll enjoy the continuing adventures of Stick Nathan and Stick Melissa and Stick Shawn with stick hair from now on. |

Well, I am 8-Bit is in town again, I hope you all go. That's why we're doing the video game arc, obviously. Today's the signing, so go my little ones~
Oh dear, poor Melissa's fanfic is not too far a cry from some of my own. Without the mary jane stuff, though. Daniel, did you know that there's a whole fanfic world out there we know next to nothing about? I'm just going to listen to Baxendale now. |
